The Board of Christian Nurture shall have charge of the educational and fellowship interests of the church.  Its duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

A.     Religious Education  

1.     Determining an appropriate curriculum for the church school.

2.     Recruiting and directing teachers for the church school program.

3.     Developing and overseeing programs for the religious education for youths and adults of the church.

4.     Developing and overseeing a library for the church congregation.  

B.     Fellowship  

1.     Determining opportunities for fellowship with the membership including event-related lunches or suppers, outings, and activities.

2.     Organizing and overseeing fellowship activities for the youth of the church.  

C.     Christian Nurture Staff  

1.    Employment

2.    All aspects of staff responsibilities.

3.    Supervised by the Pastor.
